Ravens Baseball Signs Five For 2023
Benedictine College Baseball head coach Eric Peterson has announced the programs early signing recruiting class for the 2023 season. The Ravens have added five players to their roster.
The incoming class includes three infielders, one outfielder, and one pitcher. The infielders are Ryan Dick (Ashburn, Va.), Ryan Krizancic (Bartlett, Ill.), and Aidan O'Connell (San Diego, Calif.). The outfielder is Bailey Arnold (Wentzville, Mo.), and the pitcher is Anthony Fiala (York, Pa.).
"We are excited about the addition of these five young men to our program," said Peterson. "They are all talented players who have a lot of potential. We look forward to having them on campus and helping them develop both on and off the field."
Dick is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound shortstop who played for Briar Woods High School. He is a two-time All-Region selection and was named the team's MVP as a senior.
Krizancic is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound second baseman who played for Bartlett High School. He is a two-time All-Conference selection and was named the team's Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.
O'Connell is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound shortstop who played for Cathedral Catholic High School. He is a two-time All-League selection and was named the team's MVP as a senior.
Arnold is a 6-foot-2, 185-pound outfielder who played for Timberland High School. He is a two-time All-Conference selection and was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year as a senior.
Fiala is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound right-handed pitcher who played for Central York High School. He is a two-time All-Conference selection and was named the team's Pitcher of the Year as a senior.
