Auburn Coach Hugh Freeze Addresses Michael Oher's Lawsuit Against Tuohy Family

Auburn head football coach Hugh Freeze addressed the public dispute between former NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher and the Tuohy family, who were depicted in the 2009 film "The Blind Side."

Freeze coached Oher while he was a student at Memphis Briarcrest Christian School and during his time with the Ole Miss Rebels. Freeze is also a longtime friend of Leigh Anne Tuohy, who adopted Oher.

"I love Michael Oher and the Tuohy family," Freeze said Thursday. "I've known them for a long time, and I believe in them. I know the facts will come out, and I'm confident that the truth will prevail."

Oher is suing the Tuohy family for alleged financial improprieties and emotional distress. The Tuohy family has denied the allegations.

Freeze's comments come as the legal battle between Oher and the Tuohy family continues. A trial date has not yet been set.
